We’ve stayed in many Airbnb’s most good, some not so good, but I think this is just about the best one . Almost too nice to be a rental, this property is beautifully furnished, private while also being literally on the beach. Highly recommend.

Wow! Sally’s AirBnB at Hokitika was just lovely. A stylish, comfortable and well located home away from home. My one regret is only booking for one night, I wish I stayed longer. If I could, I would give this AirBnB a higher rating. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+🌟

We stayed for 2 nights and we had a lovely time! Accommodation was gorgeous, super clean, loved the decor and the softest bed sheets and comfiest bed ever! Perfectly located for sunsets and beach walks (literally 30 seconds walk) and super close to shops / food places etc. Fully equipped kitchen and washing machine and dryer (came in handy!) and shower pressure was brilliant ✨️ all topped off by lovely bunny rabbits 🐇 popping into the garden 😀. Sally was a great host and we would recommend this place to anyone staying in Hokitika ✨️🙌👌

New Zealand cool and Scandinavian chick at this total gem in Hokitika! What a beautiful little hideaway this is. Super cozy, right on the beach (you can hear the waves crashing on the shore) and in the middle of town. Interior is very cool, very well thought out and very well stocked with utensils, soaps and fluffy towels. Would love to stay here again, and with Sally such a good and responsive host, we would visit New Zealand again just to stay at No87.

We’ve stayed in some pretty special places but this by far was absolutely stunning! From the moment we entered the property…every room so thoughtfully decorated, every space so comfortable, everything we need had been thought of. Extremely clean from top to toe, and the most comfortable bed with luxurious bedding. To top off our stay, Hokitika turned on the most spectacular sunset. Thanks for having us Sally, we can’t wait to come back!

Fabulous find in Hokitika! Loved everything about the place…a well appointed hide-away by the beach. We had everything we needed and more. Very relaxing curling up on the window seat listening to the ocean across Beach Street. So close to the beach, shopping and restaurants via the fun walkway. We definitely recommend Sally’s place to others!

An amazing house right on the beach front right by the iconic Hokitika beach sign. The house is beautifully presented and has everything you need to have a great stay. Sally is a very responsive host and gives great instructions for the house. Well worth the cost and we shall come back again. Peaceful and private and right in the best spot in Hokitika. Everything you need is an easy few minutes walk from the house.

We’ve planned Hokitika to be our pit-stop but once arrived definitely decided it worth exploring more and so we will come back again! Sally’s place and location made the most of it – straight on the beach for amazing walk for sunset or sunrise, right next to the lively street with plenty of bars and restaurants and at the same time well hidden and quiet to feel cosy inside. Bed and pillows made your sleep feel in the clouds, most needed after long hikes or drive..

We loved our stay here, great location and the house itself was really well thought through with lovely interior design touches. Sally had thought of everything to make sure our stay was an enjoyable one. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again next time we’re in Hokitika.
